Andy Filson serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Member at Spartech. He brings more than three decades of global leadership experience across diversified manufacturing and technology‑driven organizations, with a strong track record of driving operational excellence, profitable growth, and long‑term value creation.

Prior to joining Spartech, Andy served as President and Chief Operating Officer of CoorsTek, where he led large‑scale global transformations across the portfolio strategy, operations, and business execution. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Corning Incorporated, including business management and joint venture governance, with experience in advanced materials for semiconductor, aerospace, consumer electronics, and automotive markets.

Andy is recognized for his adaptive approach to setting a clear strategy, building a high‑performance culture aligned around a shared vision, and getting results. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School.
