Duane Govitz is Vice President, Sales & Marketing of St. Louis-based Spartech, an engineered materials solutions company. Spartech is dedicated to developing sustainable, diverse, and reliable results that bring innovation to real-world applications.

Duane will oversee all commercial activities and help deliver our strategic growth initiatives. He will be instrumental in the development and execution of our market strategies to drive long-term profitable growth in all our business and industry segments.

Before joining Spartech, Duane held a wide range of commercial leadership roles where he delivered positive results in strategic plan development, innovation pipeline management, increasing profitable market share, new product sales, and new market development. His 25 years in the specialty materials business make him a great addition to the Spartech team.

Most recently, Duane was the Vice President of Marketing at VanDeMark Chemical in Lockport, NY. He also previously held roles with Dupont and Dow Corning.

Duane holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwood University and an MBA from DeVos Graduate School of Business, Midland, MI.
