Vice President of Human Resources

JuliAnn Bock is Vice President of Human Resources at St. Louis-based Spartech, an engineered materials solutions company. Spartech is dedicated to developing results that are sustainable, diverse, reliable and bring innovation to real-world applications.

During her 10 years with Spartech, Bock has also served as Senior Human Resources Manager and Director of Human Resources. In her current role as Vice President of Human Resources, Bock is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating Human Resources policies, procedures, and best practices. Bock takes an entrepreneurial approach to her role — which she learned at a young age from her business owner parents. She keeps a strategic lens in mind while still connecting with Spartech’s people on a deeply personal level.

Before joining Spartech in 2012, Bock served as a Regional Human Resources Manager for the National Envelope Corporation for four years. Prior to that, she spent seven years as Director of Human Resources at Millennium Rail Inc. and two years as Director of Human Resources at Houston Harvest Gift Products.

Bock earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in French from Roosevelt University in Chicago.

In her free time, JuliAnn loves everything French: cooking, movies, you name it. She says it may be no coincidence that her parents were married on Bastille Day in 1951. An avid Black Hawks fan, JuliAnn is up for any hockey-related activity — especially if her cats can tag along.
