Get to know Muncie
Muncie is located in East-Central Indiana about 50 miles northeast of Indianapolis. Founded during the 1880s natural gas boom, the city is now a major manufacturing and industrial center in the Midwest and home to Ball State University.
The Muncie site was opened in 1984 by the Ball Corporation and focused on products for food preservation. Spartech acquired the facility and has expanded the mission of innovation and development to create new sustainable solutions for the food packaging industry.
