Polymer PPO
Polymer PPO
What It Is & Characteristics
Polymer that is commonly blended with other types (e.g., PC); easy to paint, electroplate and weld.
Polyphenylene Oxide (PPO) is a lightweight resin that's commonly used and mixed with other resins to facilitate manufacturing processes. It resists heat very well, and as a result, can't easily be melted down and used in different injection molds or recycled for other uses. However, this does make it a good choice for products needing heat resitance or heat deflection. When blended with other resins, it offers good stability, rigidity, and hardness.
Typical Uses
PPO (and it's blends) are mainly used for structural parts, consumer, and vehichle items, scientific applications, and within electronical components.
Sustainability. The Key To Future Value.
We have placed sustainability, environment, social and governance (ESG) issues at the very center of our focus. Not simply to comply with regulations and standards, but to drive true change that transforms tomorrow. This, we believe, is how real value is created.
